evolving
I grew up skating in the San Fernando valley in the 1970’s, in the days of Lords of Dogtown, building boards at ValSurf, Vans shoes was not far away.
My first board was a crazy metal wheeled thing that my dad picked up. it was worse than metal wheeled skates.
My second board was a yellow banana board, with tiny hard wheels that didn’t love the cracks on Van Nuys sidewalks.

My third board, was a Freeformer wood board. It was a solid plank – zero flex. But it was long and had big wheels, so it was stable and fast.

In college, the only way to get across the campus or to your car, parked a mile away, was to skate. I picked up a Costco Kamikaze, as did about 100 other UCSD students. For $20 bucks, it did the trick. I painted mine and put some kryptonics on them… sweet ride.

Evolved
This is my finest purchase, maybe ever. This sweet baby is the shizzle for cruising and carving.
